Karaoke in Vegas
« on: May 14, 2012, 01:03:40 AM »
Hi,
First off, this is an awesome informational site. So thank you to the owner and mods for it.
My real question is I haven't been to Vegas in 5 years and I wanted to check out a few karaoke shows/ bars while there. I don't want to go to ones that are not recommended. As I have been a karaoke host for almost 10 years and have way too much fun when I'm not the one hosting. Lol
Thanks.   ;D

Welcome to the site, Mike!

I've actually heard a lot about the Karaoke at Ellis Island.  I can't say I've done any karaoke in Vegas (or if I did, I must have been really drunk), but perhaps some other members here will have some suggestions for you.

Here's the Ellis Island website with (limited) info about their karaoke:

With a Karaoke Host and the DJ talent we have here, the excitement at member meets will be picking up.

Thank you for the link and the info. Has anyone one been to any of the bars and actually sing?
Thank you

I've been to the Karaoke at Ellis and it was a whole lotta fun.

Bill's Gamblin Hall o n the Strip is also good.

Finally - Aliante used to have dress up Karaoke where they provided the costume, fog, and light show and that was the best I've ever seen.  IO don;t think they do it any more though.

We've been to Bill's Karaoke twice and it seemed to be about 85% professional singers that have no need for the words rolling on the screen as they've memorized the words and 15% horrible singers.  It's a lot of fun.  We didn't want to be part of the 15% so we just enjoyed the show.
