I have been going to LV for more than 30 years, mostly twice a year for the past 20 years.  Been a member of another LV advice group since before the internet.  Always looking for insights from other regular Vegas visitors and willing to share my experiences.  Next trip scheduled for September, can't wait.

Thanks for the warm welcome.  In answer to your questions...............

Staying.............We abandoned the strip years ago, now staying at Boyd properties downtown, Orleans, and sometimes Sams Town.  Ocassionaly, Golden Nugget.  Rarely spend any time in the room, so we go for the best deal at the places we like. 

Playing................Craps and VP mostly, used to play a lot of BJ but I refuse to play 6:5 so I find I am playing less and less BJ each trip.  My wife plays a lot of BJ when she can find a 3:2 game.

Dining.................mostly where ever we have coupons for.  Aside from that, we like the coffee shops at Orleans, 4 Queens, and the Cal.  Dinner at The Flame is a must.  Mexican restaruant at Tuscany.  Pasta Pirate at the Cal.  In March we discovered an India fast food outlet at the Riviera which we have added to our must visit list.
