My jackass neighbor wouldn't stop using our internet so I warned him I would escalate this... and I did, by sending a complaint to his company...an IT company.  It magically stopped that day.

Buy your own sh*t yo.

Now seems like a good time to make my annual mention of my disagreement-escalate-to-argument in the LVA office with the guy who at that time was their web expert and moderator. Mr. Flowers informed me via email afterwards that if I set foot  on the property again, he would call metro. This was after 20 years of my business and my promoting them in publicly published articles half a dozen times.

Now also seems like a good time to mention the fact that Mr. Flowers and cohorts have appeared as expert witnesses in court cases -- for casinos -- while the casinos were trying to ban people for using the very gambling techniques Huntington Press's books were espousing.

Wait, what?  How was he using your internet connection (and, "I have an unsecured network" is not an allowable response here)?

Although I can't answer this question directly, I do remember hearing on the news quite a while ago about people somehow having the ability of getting into their neighbors Wifi connection and making use of their Internet service.

Well, I can tell you that AC has sent me several emails telling me that my full membership subscription has expired and that I'm really missing out........   :disgusted:  I'm waiting for the email that wants to know why I didn't renew.......and when that comes, I will tell them about their message boards and their viruses........but that will likely be a cold day in hell.

Let me be the first to congratulate LVA for being the first web site I visit to accidentally allow their domain name to expire.  I tried to buy it, but it's too soon after the lapse.  I think they allow 30 days after expiration for the owner to reclaim.

I also clicked the link to buy the domain name, before coming here to post a screenshot. Too much trouble.

I wonder just how many others have also expressed interest/curiosity in buying the domain name.

A word to the wise isn't necessary, it's the stupid ones that need advice.

everything about this post, everything.  rules.

id love it if this were planned and they just didnt tell anyone. but ya know.

my domain expires in february and it has been making me aware of this every time i log into the account for a few weeks now.  its annoying the hell out of me.  but i guess people like whoever handles this at lva are the reason they have to go overboard warning people.

Anthony has got to be pissed.  It's like the ultimate in incompetence in the IT world.  Virus infected web site and then inadvertently let your domain name expire.  I bet all of the dozens of warnings that the web site is about to expire were being sent to Ody's old e-mail.
