It looks like the Tropicana's stained glass ceiling over the table games pit will be gone in a year or two.  From VegasChatter:

Wow, I guess I'm really blind to what's in casinos these days. I stayed at Trop in August and the beginning of this month and never noticed that stained glass!

Looking more and more as though the long-terrm plan for Vegas is a citywide shopping mall.

Yeah, it sucks. But it generates a lot of revenue, so I guess "we" asked for it.

 when we were there in June, a great slot attendant told us the ceiling was for sale- the problem was that it would cost more to move it than it was worth. Wonder what's gonna happen to it?
