Hi all.....I'm new to this forum.  I'll be going to Las Vegas Feb 27 for a long weekend, and will be staying at Ballys  in the newly refurbed Jubilee tower.  I know Ballys vp stinks, so I hope to go off the strip, probably to one or two of the Boyd casinos.   I'm diamond and sapphire at those casinos.  I did stay in a new Jubilee room last month.  My suggestion: try to stay on the highest floor possible to avoid the construction noise across the street.

Welcome! We stayed one night in one of the new Jubilee rooms November 30 and liked it. I actually had some luck on their short pay VP, too! :)

Good luck on your upcoming trip!

Welcome to the site!  Obviously you've spent some time at Boyd casinos -- what's your favorite one?

My favorite Boyd casino is really the Borgata, but, of course, it is not part of B-Connected.  I do like the Orleans.  Hotel is nice, has decent security, and is really spotless.  Prime Rib at the Loft is a steal.   Haven't stayed at the Gold Coast, but I like the casino.  Sams was just too smoky for me, but I haven't been there in 2 years.  Let me know if they ever improve their air system.  After my upcoming end of Feb trip, I will be going to Vegas for a convention (June-July),  have reservations for 4 nites at the Orleans and 3 at Caesars.

Sams Town is still VERY smoky - I can last 10 minutes max!
MSS is much better.

Welcome!  If you want to play some good Video Poker close to the Strip, check out Palms Casino!  And maybe even take advantage of the http://www.slotplaycoupons.com promotion for there.  I know that Palms is not a Boyd place, but they do have better VP and some promotions to boot!

Welcome. Orleans is one of my main hangouts. So is LVH. We can discuss down the road. Enjoy your trip and let us know how Bally's treats you. I haven't stayed there in a couple of years -- not in Jubilee Tower -- and room was a bit rundown compared to previous visits. Steakhouse was great, but I understand they are redoing it? That would be a shame; it was old school.

Thanks all for your welcoming comments.  Yes, I have done Slot Play Coupons at the Palms.  I'm waiting for one of their discount emails which usually pop up around holidays.
