Palms becoming part of Cesears?
« on: January 27, 2011, 11:47:21 PM »
I just read Maloof is going to sell a share of the Palms to Cesears.  Has anyone else heard that?  If so, when will this happen.  (We know if HET gets their hand on the Palms there goes the good VP.  I would change my reservation to another hotel) :(

I sure hope not. I'm looking forward to some good quality VP time there.

I wonder how long this will take:

http://www.sacbee.com/2011/01/08/3308577/report-maloofs-struggle-to-keep.html

Way too often, if history is any indicator, once "news" such as this reaches the average Joe public, the "deal" is already in place, although perhaps not "officially" in document form, and could be finalized within days.

:(

That stinks, I guess I am going to change my reservations to somewhere else.

You probably safe for a while vp wise. But I see you know the history of HET and vp. So it would only be a matter of time.

I think your right on the vp for awhile.  I heard they will be changing their slot club to the rewards program.  I wonder what will go down before May of this year.
