I did remember to turn on the compatability mode after awhile so that is set. Yep, I have IE8. I'm still not getting any options for the font size other than 10.

I think my problem is that I'm used to changing test size and color before I start typing. This will be my weekend project when I can devout more time to it and get a better handle on it.

Thanks for taking the time to help me with this......it's greatly appreciated! 8)

Oh, the code will always pop up with 10pt in the code -- just go in there and change the number to whatever you want.

Question..
When trying to post a pic from Photobucket..
I tried looking at in preview..I always like to do that to be sure it is coming thru...
But the pic doesn't show up..Just that funny looking little square with a red thingy in it...
How can I be sure that my pics are gonna post with out posting then a having to delete if it doesn't come thru?

And is there a way to make your siggy at the bottom in color and a different font?
I'm getting all the info to change fonts, color, etc. for my posts, but it doesn't come up when I make changes in my profile.

Don’t put off ‘til tomorrow what you wished you had done yesterday.

Make sure you're using the BBCode for your pictures from Photobucket -- it should look like:

[ img]http://www.photobucket.com/whatever.jpg[ /IMG]

(But no space between the "[" and "IMG".)

It will show up in the preview, so if you're not seeing it, you're likely not using the right code.  If you're stuck, please just post a link to the picture you're trying to post and I can show you how to get it in your post.

It looks like there isn't a full editor in the signature text box, but it will accept text with BBCode, so if you'd like you can compose it in a message reply, preview it to make sure that it looks how you want it, then copy the text and paste it into the signature area.  You can also put an image in your signature, if you wish, which is done using the same code as you'd insert a picture into your posts (described above).  Hopefully the forum will limit signatures to a certain height so that people don't put full-sized pictures in their signature, requiring people to scroll past them every time they post.  :propeller:

I cannot get this size/color thingy to work.

I'll write an FAQ tomorrow and link it here.  Too tired now.  Must sleep...

In the meantime, "quote" this post and you'll see how I got this line of text a bigger size...

...and this line of text in red.

(The trick is to highlight the text you want to manipulate first, then use the toolbar buttons to select a font size or color.)
