i have stayed at the Sahara so many times, never had a room that small.

I did, once.  It was a room that looked out directly on the monorail entrance.  I was scared to go to sleep because I was worried that when I woke up I'd find the entire room filled with mops and buckets.  If they did the bed-in-the-middle routine on that room there wouldn't be enough room for a chihuahua to walk around it.
The best, and easiest, way to enforce social distancing is to shower only once a month.

I suppose it can hide many sins...
If you place a statistician's head in dry ice and his feet in boiling water, then on the average he is fairly comfortable but his comfort has a large variance.

Most people have more than the average number of legs.

Just call me the "quad kickers" of deuces wild and double bonus poker.

SLS is one of the Top 20 Deals on Travelzoo this week -- $82 plus $28 resort fee.  WTF, I used to stay at the Sahara for $28!
Never remember any rooms at the Sahara as small as the one shown in the video.

The newest edition of the LVA Newsletter is saying very favorable things.   The new management seems to understand that low prices and good games are going to be part of the recipe for the SLS.   Among some of the findings:   Player friendly blackjack.   Single zero roulette wheel.   some decent VP at the quarter level..lots of good VP at the dollar level.

And they're saying the buffet looks to be a good one.

Now I'm really looking forward to checking this place out.

There are a lot of SLS ads on travel websites today.

What is "player friendly blackjack" mean?  Is it 3:2 and decent rules with a DD game and a $5 min?  That is my definition but what is theirs?
There will never be another Vegas, enough said.

There is information about SLS Blackjack in the "Las Vegas Blackjack Survey Link" on the http://wizardofvegas.com website, so check to see if you find it "Player Friendly enough."  I myself won't play Blackjack if the casino advantage is any higher than 0.42%.

I received an offer of 3 free nights in a World Superior King and $150 free play good through October. I never played more than an hour of quarter single line at Sahara. The letter also detailed the offer match that's good through December 29. It said they would match up to $3000, but when I called the guy said they would match up to $1000, so they still don't know what they're doing.

When I called to book the $150 free play offer I asked if it was an either/or deal with the match offer. The guy said I could do both, but not on the same day. I'm hoping I can do the match offer the first day and then their offer. We'll see.

I asked him if I might get bumped into that tiny Story Tower room and he said that it wouldn't happen. He said those rooms are mostly for their club-goers. I said, "good, because I was scared of that room". He laughed.

We'll see what happens! I'll report after my October stay.

Thanks for the info, Mare.  I'll hopefully have a decent offer to bring in and try to get them to match.

Nah, it's too small to be an RV!
