:welcome:  We have lots of good information to help make your trip more rewarding and we'll look forward to hearing about your visit afterwards. Enjoy.
If you place a statistician's head in dry ice and his feet in boiling water, then on the average he is fairly comfortable but his comfort has a large variance.

Most people have more than the average number of legs.

Welcome Chickenlips! What part of Wisconsin are you from?

I'm a neighbor in Minnesota. From the Minneapolis area.

Welcome to the site.  I am also from Wisconsin.  I even plan on stopping in Wisconsin before I head to Vegas next.
Where do you stay in Vegas?              Mary

We're staying at The Red Rock for 3 nights and the Golden Nugget for two. All comped rooms. We're excited because we normally stay at the Fremont and this will definitely be a step up for us.

I'm  about 25 miles East of Madison in Jefferson.

We've had this trip planned for 2 months and I'm passing my time reading all the trip reports. Last weekend I decided to stop at Hochunk in Madison to "Warm up" for Vegas, I  won $25,000! Now I'm afraid to gamble in Vegas as I  may have used up my luck!!

Wow! What were you playing?

Red Rock is very nice but I can't recommend T-Bones. Other's opinions may vary. Other than that, I think you'll be very happy there. They also have good VP and BJ.

That's pretty much our upcoming trip, although we're spending four nights at the Nugget (3 comped).  I think you'll enjoy both properties.  Hopefully you asked for the Rush Tower at the Golden Nugget, as long as you're good with a king bed and a non-smoking room.  It's the newest and nicest tower.

Wow, congrats on your big win!  At least you have some bankroll for Vegas now.  :)

Was playing a penny slot with $2 bet. It's one of those Bingo machines. I think a class 2 slot.  Looks like a slot but the wins are based on a Bingo game.  We are getting the Rush tower at GN. Can't wait!
