I was 27 years old, in California on a second date-- the guy took me to Lake Tahoe from SF-- we were in sight of the casinos when he stopped for dinner- I was vasilating between being polite and finagling how to get into the casino fastest way possible--- he insisted I try one of his escargos- a total deal breaker-clash of wills insued- but he was adamint..
bottom line?
I wanted to get to the casino!!!

I ate a snail to get going-- casino-ho (I mean that in the land ho sailor/pirate type o way...)

but the guy lost points in my eyes... he gushed over David Copperfield WAY too much and hadn't booked us a room--- we fell into some Motel 6 down the road off Strip. I hadn't packed a bag as I had clue how far "Lake Tahoe" was- here I am in a braless evening dress and nothing but 4 inch patent leather heels all the way back to SF in dull day light 30 hours later.

Don't beat Sheldon up too much, I own LVS stock.
I used to buy at 80, sell at 120 let it fall and buy in again.

I bought in at 26.44 this time around. Currently 48.00
It just dropped to 34 a week ago and I missed buying more.

LVS is the only company other than Wynn to be spread all over the world with the current exclusive rights to Singapore.
Wynn has some excellent properties but not the wide berth that the sands has.

Singapore is about to expand its gaming and is set to rival Macau. The Venitian Macau make 1b in profit last month.
Venitan Vegas broke even.

MGM is going down the tubes so fast it will make your head spin.

Mare, Mr. snail doesn't really have a taste, it gets one from the sauce its made in.

I first had those little puppies when I was in high school. We had a pot luck lunch in French class, I brought quiche and some one brought escargot. The green dish wasn't touched, and since the young lady who made them was very nice looking, I just had to try her dish. Turned out I liked those little guys and I cleared the plate before class was over. Unfortunately, I was unable to secure a night out with the lass, however she's a good friend.

NC, sometimes you can get escargot in the freezer section. They may not be top notch, however they don't taste too bad.
