Hi all,

Just wanted to give a formal introduction to my newest venture TravelZork.

It's a website about travel and miles+points with a "heavy emphasis" on Vegas and casinos. I have a background in miles+points and casino loyalty, and there will be more and more content in that direction. This week, we will be featuring the new SPRING PROMO for Caesars Entertainment Total Rewards; with a pretty extensive discussion. We have a number of writers with varied backgrounds and even feature a monthly column from Bob Dancer.

Our new Sunday News Series is also in full swing (third week).

I am always "motivated" by feedback. Feedback, complaints, praise... or just a quick note are always appreciated.

Me, what other things am I involved in? Well, I am a writer for InsideFlyer; and help to manage the Netherlands site for InsideFlyer (aka InsideFlyer NL).
"InsideFlyer.NL wordt gemaakt door frequent flyers, voor frequent flyers. We schrijven over vliegen, hotels, loyaliteitsprogramma's en de frequent flyer lifestyle."

Currently, I spend most of my time in Amsterdam, NL and traveling around the world.

Also, be sure to check out the TravelZork Vegas&Casino front page DROP DOWN (image attached), which is divided into multiple "Vegasy good" categories.

Best always! - Michael

Congratulations and good luck on your venture, Michael! I've made this a sticky post, as I've been enjoying the articles on your site, and I've been following on Facebook to get updates as to when new articles are available.

I encourage the folks here to check out your site if they haven't already.

Thank you for the kind words. We really try our best to provide a lot of "fun" and "interesting" travel content and pictures (with a Vegas and casino focus) on a daily basis. Hotel reviews are also another "big focus" of ours.

We also LOVE comments and feedback (good and bad).

Sorry I have not been around that often; but we have been stronger than ever with Vegas and now lots of Atlantic City content on TravelZork. On a personal level I also moved from Amsterdam to London. So, life it just a bit crazy sometimes. Things are more settled, and I'll try to pop over more often.

Have a great week!

Comps are for gamblers and you better plan on spending a BUNDLE if you want a comp on a Strip hotel casino. The locals casinos are more likely to be more generous like Orleans, Gold Coast or South Coast; all within a quick drive. They also have the lowest minimum bets.

My personal feeling is that Caesars Total Rewards is pretty generous with room offers for the strip. For many, that's quite decent. (free rooms on the strip)

I was a low level gold and I stiffed them for about 10 years before they stopped send me comped room offers. Anyway, with resort fees and parking fees that are comped only for platinum and above players, I don't think in my case a room offer would be worth taking.
