By the way, I forgot to mention that it's hot here. My bad.

Hey, it's hot here. :P

Like most everything else, we import extra from overseas for the tourists.

It was 107° Friday and 109° yesterday. Don't worry, it's going to cool off today. It will only be 108°F for U.S. visitors. It will be 42.2°C for visitors from the rest of the world.
If you place a statistician's head in dry ice and his feet in boiling water, then on the average he is fairly comfortable but his comfort has a large variance.

Most people have more than the average number of legs.

Just call me the "quad kickers" of deuces wild and double bonus poker.

Having a pretty good time here, but damn, are quads ever hard to come by. I've played over 2400 hands and only one quad so far.

Got a great free upgrade on my rental car, which was totally savvy. Epic even. Sick. ILL.

Sorry I missed you, KKB.

Kenny signs each and every one of these by hand. Probably.

My LVA coupon let me pick an envelope worth from $10 to $1000. Guess which I got.

Bummed out that Gordie Howe has died. :(

Been a very busy time here in Vegas, not much sitting around in my room watching old episodes of Mayday at all.

Down at T.I. now hitting the Jacks game hard. Gotta get that coin in somehow!

There is a lot of structural steel up at Resorts World!

I had a pretty good time at T.I. I got playing blackjack with someone who grew up very near Flusherville. Kinda weird.

Kahunavile is gutted, I'm happy to say. I hated that place. I still don't know what's going in there. I had a great room again, same room as last time but on the other side of the hall - the end room right on the strip with two windows, one on each of the outside walls. Great views!

Now why is Flushie playing dollars????

THAT wasn't in the plan.

I'm going to take a WAG: Strict Rules of Parlay... and the need/desire to get 16k CI@TI.
How'd I do?

Not bad.

More like 'it's going well at this moment, so press it until it isn't'.

Another day, another zero hotel bill. I'm doing really well in this department but boy am I going to miss the offers, because I am slow-playing most of these places.

Made it to Rollin' Smoke which was as good as ever, and busy. Checked out of T.I. and over to the Trop, which is looking good.

I got my first handpay of the trip!

Did you know you can get a really delicious breakfast sandwich at Hooters? Filling, too!

Hung around the Trop a lot and then took a trip to Frys, where I saw a $99,999 television. Three's Company re-runs never looked so good.

Nice picture by the pool there.

I can get you a great deal on that TV -- there's on on Amazon right now for only $35,000.  That's a savings of $64,999!!  Now that's savvy!!!

So... I hope this is ok - as you know, I've been posting some trip report information live, because everyone pretty much likes it that way. I like to do very long and detailed trip reports (and this one warrants it), but I don't like to take two hours a day to write stuff up while on vacation. So this was the compromise, and now the full, actual, detailed trip report begins.

I used the Plaza Premium lounge and it was pretty good. Open bar, which is nice, and I had a $10 off virtual coupon. $33 CAD for two hours including tax. Unlike the Maple Leaf Lounge, there was a decent beef dish that you could make actual dinner from. And the chairs were comfy enough.

My flight left about 40 minutes late, which is what every Rouge flight to Vegas does, almost without fail.

The marginal but serviceable bar:
