Ok, I finished off my day with some play at Binions. I'd wanted to have a $10 burger and won a $10 voucher at the Wipe' n 'Smooth spinner wheel promotion. Can't recommend that Hangover Burger enough!

Oh yeah, and I went degenerate.

New day. Breakfast at Binions, not bad. And I am up to zero for five on match plays.

It's two-fer Wednesday...

First of all, has anyone ever won more than $10 free play from the El Cortez 'Pick a $10 envelope' drum?

So embarrassing...

Wait, what? Yes, I actually had a winning blackjack session. I won money. I didn't lose. What about THAT.

Tried out the happy hour deal at Grotto and I did indeed get a $17 pizza for half the price i.e. normal price.

How can a buffet line be this long at 6:55am? It can when the buffet doesn't open until 7:00am and there are a couple of bus tours full of people with free buffet coupons.

I headed down to T.I. to do the first of two days of $8K a day coin in. I hoped.

The first part of the T.I. Jacks or Better run! Another great view room at T.I., same as last time, but other side of the hallway - right on the strip, with windows facing two directions.

One of these happened, or didn't happen depending on how you look at it.

The 50 cents Jacks session continued. Thank goodness I was hitting a few quads along the way. After that, I headed downtown and had a taco bowl. Which is chicken, salad, and beans in a deep fried dough bowl. Hint: don't eat the bowl.

Par-a-Dice!  There's a trip down memory lane.  It was Where we stayed on our first trip to Vegas in 1968.  Little did we know that we would visit Vegas over 200 times in the next 48 years, but that first trip will always hold a special place For us.

In 1968 Hubby and I were college students in Utah.  Our friends had a friend who was playing for a minor league hockey team in Vegas (called the Gamblers, I think.)  Their friend could get us a three-night FREE hotel room!  Of course, the 4 of us would have to stay in one room, but who cared?! We were going to Vegas, baby, to celebrate our first wedding anniversary.  And a comped room!

We all saved $ for a month, and each couple scrapped together about $25.  No credit cards back then - so that cash paid for gas, food and entertainment.  But we had a blast!  Free room, ate 99c buffets at Silver Slipper, saw Checkmates LTD with Chelsea Brown at a 1-drink cover, lounge show at Caesars, and all the sights and lights these 8 eyeballs of Oklahoma country bumpkins could absorb.

Good memories.
Adieu, Par-A-Dice.

That is the healthy thing to do but I always eat the bowl. It's warm, flaky, deep fried and bad for you. What more could one ask for?  :rotf:
If you place a statistician's head in dry ice and his feet in boiling water, then on the average he is fairly comfortable but his comfort has a large variance.

Most people have more than the average number of legs.

Just call me the "quad kickers" of deuces wild and double bonus poker.

Had a fun afternoon at T.I. playing blackjack. Played about 2 1/2 hours on a $100 buy-in. I had 270 tickets in the daily prize drawing promo that is going on. Lots of oldsters won prizes inappropriate for their age though, which was fun.

What is granny going to do with that GoPro?
