That's a stunning shot with the cloud formation centered just right. Maybe you can take the bar car on your next ride. I'm guessing that no children would be allowed.
If you place a statistician's head in dry ice and his feet in boiling water, then on the average he is fairly comfortable but his comfort has a large variance.

Most people have more than the average number of legs.

Just call me the "quad kickers" of deuces wild and double bonus poker.

That's a nice report Bonnie. I'd never pass up that free ticket for it but not sure I'll ever go for a full price ticket.

I watched breathlessly, half expecting the door to pop open and the girls to fall to their untimely ends, but thankfully that did not happen.

You are forgetting what drunk people do though.  They talk.  TO YOU.  ::shuddering:::

Nah....I didn't really want those little girls to perish...just to sit down and stop jumping!

Yeah..the bar car is good idea if I ever attempt this again.

The bar car is twice the price (it's like $52) of a regular tickets and the ride will be over before the booze even kicks in. It's probably one of the biggest rips out there (I had it for free as 7* and it was a waste). If you need to be hammered to make this ride, do it for free in the casino before you get on the ride.

The idea wasn't to get hammered but to avoid screaming and prancing children.

TravelZoo has daytime Happy Half Hour ("bar car") tickets available.  $35 for two people (so, $17.50 each) including the open bar.  If you're eligible, you can chop another $10 off of that price with code SAVE10E making it $25 for the pair of tickets.  Sale ends September 7th, voucher is valid through December 23rd.

Actually getting hammered beforehand AND avoiding the children both sound like good advice.
Thanks for all the tips.
Likely it will be a cold day in hell before I ride this again.
