I'm with you. The Four Queens doesn't get a lot of love on Vegas Message Board and some other places, and it certainly isn't deluxe, but I've always been comfortable and I think that the easy comps, generous cashback and playable video poker schedules make it my favorite place.

I stayed at the 4Q a couple of weeks ago. The parking garage elevator was not working (the signs on the elevator doors were starting to getting yellow...). Furthermore, they are remodeling a few rooms at a time (instead of a floor at a time), so the whole south tower was full of dust and smelling of chemicals. I am not sure if I would stay there again.

I am sure the remodel is causing some issues...but no doubt they will have it all under control again soon.
Who can remodel without a little kerfluffle?

They don't seem quite as generous as they once were...but I think that is true of almost everybody.

They could do as every one else and remodel one floor at a time, not one room in each floor at a time.

I agree with all 10 reasons to love the Four Queens.
A couple of things that I can't love is the smoke in the Casino -
the air filtering system isn't able to handle it and sometimes it gets so bad I have to leave,
the lack of a decent chair in the bedrooms.
Other than that - great place, and Mike Hammer always puts on a great show.

Definitely I notice that their air filtration isn't as good as some places,
hence why I like sitting near the open doors...lol.

(Both for heat and smoke.)
Thanks for reading people.

The North tower elevators were having issues with the heat when I was there in June. One of the maintenance guys said the temps in the control room were about 130 degrees. (no ac in the elevator control room I guess).

Next time I stay there its the South tower, elevators on that end always seem to work.
