I thought this was the LVA site.
I can't find his report here, so I guess I'll just comment ITT.

Applause to sionow for stopping at the Gold Strike. That's dedication. The casino was once a hot conversation topic because you could get a free room for playing an hour or so on the FPDW machines, leaving you the other 23 hours for sightseeing in Jean.
A couple years back, Gold Strike was sold by MGM to the people who don't own the Silver Sevens. Throughout the ownership changes, the one constant has been a lack of security. It can't be easy to steal a slot machine, but the numbers don't lie. I looked back at the Gaming Control Board's nonrestricted count reports:
In September 2004, the casino boasted 821 slot machines and 15 table games.
March 2009: 692 slots & 9 tables
December 2013: 450 slots & 7 tables
December 2016: 252 slots & 4 tables
Eventually, Gold Strike will be able to qualify for one of those special licenses allowing a 15-machine maximum.

The news was better at a casino not sold by MGM. Here's what happened at Aria:
Yesterday I got a text saying I could preregister so that when I arrived, I could avert the lines and go directly to a kiosk and pick up my keys. I gave this a shot and followed all the instructions, and sure enough, when we arrived, there’s an area marked “mobile registration.” There was an attendant there to assist, but after scanning my driver’s license to assure I was the right person, out popped the room keys. There was no hassle or waiting. It’s a good system.
Nice!
The news was worse at Sam's Town, where the 9/6 Jacks vp is now excluded from multipliers and promotions.
I thought this had to do with Fremont street.
He never did go downtown, but a 40,000 character limit at the FSE would be generous indeed. I haven't done the calculations, but I'm pretty sure they would need to reduce the size of the performance circles.
