How adorable.  I'm glad it worked out the 2nd time, how nice of you to do a doggie vacation.
Years ago when I was just out of HS and lived at home I would take my dog to any hotel that would allow him ( he was a large Collie) In the winter , most if the beach hotels would allow pets and were dirt cheap.
The pic of the doggie by the slots is priceless.

I have a French Bulldog story.
One of our customers has one and she was walking it one day and a little girl was nearby. The dog barked at something and the little girl said, "mommy, that pig just just barked".

Harrah's properties now allows dogs? I don't get the point of taking a pet along on a trip to Las Vegas. Do they let you just leave the thing in the room while you go downstairs to eat or gamble, do they provide sitters if they don't, or are you stuck in the room as a slave to room service?

I love my 2 dogs, but I can't begin to imagine doing this.

They used to let you leave it in the room, unattended at Green Valley Ranch.  I remember a story from another forum from a guy at GVR who had to listen to a dog barking in the room next to his.  I remember him writing about how unpleasant it was and how GVR could not solve the problem.  It's been years, so maybe they resolved the problem while in bankruptcy.

I just called Caesar's about it. They said you must not leave any dog alone, specifically for the barking problem. When you think about it that makes sense. Some of the little ones make more piercing sounds that'll cut right through walls than a Mariah Carey orgasm.
