dreamcard
« on: September 06, 2011, 12:57:23 PM »
While visiting the Blue Chip casino last Friday I came across a machine called"Dream card".It's a triple play video poker machine. It deals you your five cards and every so many hands the dream card feature activates and changes the last card dealt to make the hand better. For example,if your dealt 3 kings within the first 4 cards and the dream card feature activates,it will automatically give you the 4th king.I have never seen this machine in Vegas.Has anybody seen this machine during their travels in Vegas?Thanks.BK.

One of the LVAdvisor players had 4 to a royal dealt and got the 5th as a 'dream' card to close the deal. I believe it was on a Spin Poker play for 9 of the Dream Hand.

Here's a list of Las Vegas casinos that offer Dream Card:

http://www.videopoker.com/gamesNearYou/?state=Nevada&game=Dream+Card+3%2F5%2F10

(There may be more than just was is listed, too.)

You can play Dream Card for free online at VideoPoker.com (free registration required if you've never played there before).

Dream Card is fun, but I refuse to play games with inferior pay schedules, which is what you're likely to find.  I did find 9/6 JoB at the Atlantis in Reno, but they replaced that machine with a Double STP machine with a surprisingly bad schedule (for them).

In AC for Bigfus and a lady next to me at M..."Dreamcard Winner"
My game now is Ultimate X. :P :D it's 10 coins but I feel like I have a better chance..

i tried to find the picture of this and was unsuccessful BUT!

bbking - you may be interested to know - poster anniea started a thread asking about dream card, just like you did.  then she came back a short while later to that same thread with the news that she hit NINE royals thanks to a dream card.

you may be next!

I've personally renamed it "Ream Card".....play it a little while and you and your bankroll will soon see why. LOL

I was gonna say, Dan had named it "ream card" - but didn't want to steal his thunder, or the good pun.

Good jokes should only be used by the originators - glad to see you saw this thread, Dan.

What about the person with 9 dream royals??  Wish I had that luck!!

I got dealt four to the royal on Dreamcard at a local casino...and then...NO DREAMCARD.  But of course got the dreamcard the next hand to give
me a pair of 5's.  I'm still talking to myself about it.

Paying 10 coins per line really shoots the variance way up. You get a dry spell you are broke 2x as fast.
There will never be another Vegas, enough said.

It's a fun game to play for nickels, but yes, if you don't catch something early on, you can wave goodbye to your money.  The variance, paired with usually awful paytables makes this a game I don't often touch.
