I am a new member.

I am new here, call me bob, I'm retired and go to Vegas once a year.  I don't stay on the strip, play mostly craps use a rental car, I try to stay up on vegas goes on by reading vegas blogs and forums.

Welcome aboard.

There are quite of few here who stay off strip.  We'll be anxious to share you experience.

Rental cars get a reasonable amount of coverage on this forum.

Welcome Bob.  Enjoy your time here and feel free to contribute as much as you can.  I am always learning and always find it helpful to read this forum as much as I can.  Some of the most knowledgeable people are on here in many different categories for Vegas.   :welcome:

Welcome Bob - Do you have a craps strategy to share?  I try to follow the strategy outlined in Winning Casino Craps by Edwin Silbertstang.  It is pretty easy and improves your odds --- now if I could only throw the dice well....

I do a lot of reading and experimenting.  Have you read any of Golden Touch Craps books or followed their web site?  Also I have looked at The Dice Coach and read some of his info on the web.  I play $5 tables on the Boulder Highway and downtown also South Point.  The table hardnest, the shooters, and the speed of the game will dictate the way I bet, I don't believe there are two tables alike.  I try to get close to the stickman.  I set the hardways to start with and use a gentle toss landing about 3-5 inches from the wall.  I place the 6, 8, and 5.  I am not a winner overall by a long shot, but I have had some good games.
