Aah, awesome.  I'm sure you'll find many of the casino bars at the Hard Rock to your liking.  Even if you're not into the club scene, I'm sure there will still be plenty of singles there to mingle with -- the Hard Rock tends to attract that crowd.

When you're ready for an adventure, walk from the Hard Rock out front to the Paradise and walk south towards the airport.  About two blocks across the street, on your left you'll see a joint called the Double Down Saloon.  It is FAMOUS as one of griddy-ous joints in Vegas...;you'll never forget it.

Here's their website:

http://www.doubledownsaloon.com/

Have a great time.

Linda, I preferred the ass juice over the bacon martini. And no, I didn't buy their puke insurance.

If you want some very good beer,  try the Main Street Station  the bar is the 777 Brew Club.  Great beer they brew there.   Also the beer is available at the casino bar.  Which also happens to have full pay jacks or better video poker.  Sorry may not have a lot of young ladies, but a nice place to enjoy a beer and have some fun video poker play.  They also have a promotion that pays a scratch off with any 4 of a kind.  Pays at least $2, so a good perk.   Where ever you decide to go, just have a great time.

Seconded - buy the sampler - 5 small microbrew beers - great deal and best way to find a favourite.

Actually the Scratch Card is for Four Of A Kind Or More (it also is supposed to be applicable with a Straight Flush and a Royal Flush)!

I didn't know this?!  Thanks for the tip.  Whenever I stay downtown, I always go and sit at the bar and play some VP at MSS.

We were given a scratch card with our Royal.

You are correct.  The scratch cards are for 4 of a kind or higher.  My husband managed to get his first straight flush on our last trip there.  We even had a few scratch cards for more then $2.  You do need your card inserted and be playing all 5 credits of course.   Mary

Down to Earth, single people in the 35yr old range...
- Cosmopolitan Chandelier Bar.   Expensive, but mellow and cool.   Ladies love it because of the atmosphere and the fancy-girly drinks.   OK, I like the fancy, girly drinks too.
- Try some of the new outdoor bars by the high-roller Ferris Wheel.   Its a neat little area.
- Fremont East downtown has a wide variety of bars for every type of personality.   You can bounce around until you find the one that fits yours.
