Did you read the "rules"?  Picking 5 envelopes from however many that must add up to 1,000 to win the million. 

Probably only one combination of envelopes that does that, out of however many, odds have to be very very long. Perhaps more than the state lottery or megabucks jackpot win.

Just saying, but, if I were in town, I'd probably "check it out" also.  Maybe.  Probably plenty of other opportunities with better equity on that date.

Yipes! I just read the "how to earn" entries section, and, as a visitor, I'd be hesitant just because of that.

You could earn extra entries since September 1 (two and a half months!), plus bonus entries for staying there, bonus entries in locals' mail offers, etc.

I'd have like 4 entries compared to people who have thousands... Of course, it does only take one entry to win...
