Lady Luck to be re-named "Downtown Grand"

My guess is  that the new place will loose a lot of the loyal Lady Luck patrons.

I saw it suggested somewhere that perhaps someone owns the rights to the name Lady Luck and that could be a driving factor in the change.  Does anyone know anything about that (or know of any other "Lady Luck" casinos)?

Well, I would have assumed that they had a trademark on the name, especially to have been in operation so long without any issues?

Unless they never had a "formal" trademark, and they were simply using the name uninterrupted longer than anyone else, and someone else "took" it when they closed?

According to my Google search for "Lady Luck Casino", there are several.

Generic name, IMO.  I hope the "resort" is less generic (unless they offer lots of incredible bargains  :D).  I wish them well, but I'm skeptical.
