Yep the ongoing craze until next year as it points out. We were in Vegas on Cinco De Mayo back in 05. Lots of people were getting married and having a good time. I know that sounds unusual. lol. I had a pretty lucky day. 5/5/5, pretty easy day to remember.

Since then if I'm off work I head to the casino on Cinco De Mayo hoping for repeat performance. Knock on wood So far I've managed to make out ok.

Usually I am in town for Veterans day this year I backed up my trip a few days. If gamblers were superstious this would matter. Well maybe a few are... I may have try and re-book my trip.

I'm happy that the National Parks are offering a free admission weekend for Veterans Day -- we'll be going to Red Rock Canyon for sure since it'll be free.

One of our local casino's is giving a free buffet lunch to Vets.

Most of the ways to gamble now are handled by machines.  I don't see the date making that much of a difference but you never know.
