Thanks for all the replies... I'm from NYC.. I'm a traveling nurse so now home is all over!
Florida Dec-April, Az Apri-August and Texas Sept-Dec...
So as you can see I'm more of orphan...

First time in Vegas?

You want to stay on the Strip; however, you want to go downtown one evening.

You don't want to stay at Circus-Circus, Riviera, Casino Royale and The Quad (and probably not at The Excalibur, either). If you want to stay at Caesar's, Planet Hollywood, Paris, Bally's, Flamingo or Harrah's, you want to check their prices directly in caesar's website USING CRHOME.

Unless you have plenty of time, you will not need a rental.

oh,   sorry to go off track,  Brandon.  some of us had a little incident on another Las vegas board that involved Twinkies.   A little weird,  yes it is.  But don't let it bother you.  So go ahead and ask all of your first timer trip to Vegas questions.
