STATIONS

Wonder how they are doing.  They pretty much lost me with the downgrade to player club and offers.  Too bad!

I use them for low level play  and drop-in play.  Low level for me is $10k in one day.  My offers have not changed one bit from $30k to $10k.  In fact, one time I only played for 20 minutes at .25.  Offers still have not changed.

...They pretty much lost me with the downgrade to player club ....

That's strange, I though they upgraded their slot club!

Stations simply do not seem to want out of town visitors any more.

There are some at LVAdvice who hold a couple of Station properties in high esteem.  The numbers of followers seem to have fallen since the time before the bankruptcy.  The locals seem to provide all the action Stations needs, so they do not need to attract out og towners.

The Red Rock buffet was better than most locals places last time we visited and reasonably affordable too.  Food values are a big part of what locals look for.

The Station offers we get are all over the place -- at Red Rock we sometimes get free rooms, and sometimes it's $70+/night (plus a $25 resort fee) for weekdays.  Because of the very inconsistent offers, we don't plan to give them a ton of play on our upcoming trip.  We'll play there, but we aren't going to try and maintain the level of play we previously gave them.

I appear to have dropped off their radar completely, which is okay with me if I'm being tagged with a $15 resort fee for Palace.

There is no resort fee on comp rooms at Sunset, I know that much. I do stay there  when I have other things to do in Vegas. I play low one day
(low for me)  and will stay for three nights,   just to keep the home fires burning. :)

...There is no resort fee on comp rooms at Sunset, ...

During our last stay at Red Rock, we were not charged the resort fee on the comped room, however we were not able to enjoy any of the amenities covered by the resort fee.  We could have paid the fee and received the wi-fi, health club, etc., but that was not included in our comped room.  If we wanted wi-fi or health club access we would have had to pay for them, even though our room was comped.
