Hi Everyone! It's been a long time! I stopped going to Vegas for well over a year, but I'm back. Not sure if that's a good thing or not. lol

I've only gambled three times this year -- GVR a couple months ago and then Harrah's Rincon twice this month to get back to diamond.

I know things have changed a lot since I've been gone, so I'm hoping I can catch up and learn all the new ins and outs of Vegas and the comp systems again!

Hope I can figure out the forums again, too. :)

As far as the forums go, I can assure you that nothing's changed over at LVA -- the estimate for their website to be fixed is still February.  :lol:

It feels like I've been playing MyVegas forever -- it's SO boring to me.

I had a trip booked earlier this year and was going to use the $434 in Express Comps I had left in my account. Two days before my trip they took them away!!! I was so pissed I canceled the trip and swore I'd never play at an MGM property again.

So, I've been playing MyVegas to earn enough loyalty points to see LOVE one more time (it would be the 11th time for me!). I have 215k point now, enough to buy the tickets, but we're not going to the Mirage until Thanksgiving night (one night on an odd comped offer Scott got via email) and you have to use whatever you buy through MyVegas within 90 days. So, here I sit waiting to buy the tickets, hoping they don't change the amount of LP needed once again.

I believe you can claim the reward and get the tickets for further out...yep, indeed we did that for our LOVE tix last trip...I don't know if there's a deadline on THAT time frame but might as well try it.  If it doesn't work, just ask for the point refund.

I forgot about the point refund. I'll have to see if I can get on early enough in the morning to "buy" them before they sell out for the day (as they ALWAYS do!).
