Hello from eurotraveler
« on: January 19, 2014, 04:06:48 AM »
I just rejoined the "unnamed" other Vegas website after a few years away.  But it's sad how many of posters I remember are no longer on the site.  (And I see it is just as slow as ever.)  Well, at least I got my coupon book in the mail this week.  Heading to Vegas next Friday (24th) for five nights, so at least I can use the coupons.  But I also read about this forum, and I see a lot of names I recognize here.  Hello  to everyone, and I'm looking forward to reading thru the forums and posting here.   I hope you are all doing well, and do well when you visit Las Vegas.

Steve

I'm staying at Red Rock casino for 3 nights (comped), then 2 nights at Southpoint (not comped, but I'm happy with the price.)  I also plan on getting a card at M resort as long as I'm staying close to it and putting some time in there to see if we get any offers from them as a result.  Connie and I were in Las Vegas Jan 1st for 6 nights, all at Red Rock on a package deal thru Sun Country airlines ($787 total for airfare and the 6 nights) and now Sun Country has a fare sale for $198 roundtrip (total) so I'm taking advantage of that and going back.  Connie isn't interested in going back so soon, but she was OK with me heading out there on my own, so I jumped on it!

I'll have to figure out how to get my avatar imported here....

Sounds like an awesome trip -- I love Red Rock.  Nice score on the comped nights.

If you have trouble with your avatar, just send me a PM and I'll get it set up for you.

Welcome to over here. Not sure if you are a table gamer or a machiner but at SP, the pit guys can comp your room as well as meals. If you play machines, try contacting Courtney Whitacre, a host who has helped out a few of us here. Good luck.

Yes, welcome over here!  I'm here as well!  I figure that the more information that I can get, the better off I'll be.  So I've been here for a little while too!

I was away from the other site for several years.  I too was surprised to find that most of the gang was gone.  Then I had an invite to join this group and voila.  I've learned so much over the years from you all.  It's been many years since our last trip to Las Vegas.  We will be heading back out in April for my son's wedding so I'm now checking out what's new.  I can't wait to check out some of the new establishments and show the Vegas virgins around the area.  The excitement is building.

I second once you are at SP to check in with Courtney the one we mainly use. But the other hosts have been helpful also. Always covers my room. The office for them is now located a little before you get to the elevators.

Welcome Euro, and as to SP, my guess is that if you're a comped player at Red Rock, you would also get comped at SP.  Contact Courtney, and see her before you leave.

Welcome! I didn't renew the other group this year either - mostly because of their attitude. Sad, it was good once.
