You are correct.  The scratch cards are for 4 of a kind or higher.  My husband managed to get his first straight flush on our last trip there.  We even had a few scratch cards for more then $2.  You do need your card inserted and be playing all 5 credits of course.   Mary

If anyone doesn't want the Slot Attendant to take your card out of the card reader to take down the card number, you can always have a duplicate card on you.
