I found an unusual number of articles in this week's AccessVegas that were interesting. I highly recommend checking them out.
http://www.accessvegas.com/newsletter/2015-10-14For those who don't read it often, keep in mind that the actual articles are the
little unimposing links buried er, sandwiched between all the
large overblown um, "important" advertising.
Each group of links to the actual stories is preceded with the statement:
"Don't Miss These Additional Stories:"The rest is
garbage - sorry -- the bread and butter of the site!

Some of my favorites: (
I've used the original links with the AV headers to give proper credit to them. Each page has an option to remove the header and load the page from the respective originating website.)

The only two of these I would have ever been able to beat are the first one with the super hot curry and Diablo's death wings. Eating capsaicin is habit forming and builds tolerance which fades once the person ceases the habit. There was a time a few years ago where nothing seemed hot and I was actually nibbling fresh Habaneros with meals. My only problem with them was that I didn't like how they tasted! Today would be a different story. I try not to eat hot peppers very often and thus now have a low tolerance for the stuff.
Anyone here care to try any of these? Note the time limit on some of the behemoth meals.
http://n.accessvegas.com/U928iYFIsw2t (LV food tours) I looked at the company's website and the prices are $125 and $199. Pricey, but it might be worth it for some.
Actually, one of the places mentioned was cross referenced here:

It's Carson Kitchen. I've passed it dozens of times and never noticed it. I'm definitely going to check it out.
We had a topic on LV water conservation recently but this article goes into greater depth:

This humorous list isn't directly from the AccessVegas page; it's once removed from another link:

This pair of movie articles:
