If I wanted something that smells like the venetian, I would give birth to octuplets and never change their diapers.

Would they have to be Italian octuplets?

I bought the scent sticks at the Aria but you must be careful because in the gift shop, they come in 3 different scents. I can't stand the smell of the Chrystals Mall so I had to make sure I got the ones that smell like Aria.

Who provides the stale cigarette smoke scent used by El Cortez?
Beauty is in the eye of the beerholder.

Really?  Whenever I walk into El Cortez, the scent of their cleaning solution (that smells like Chi conditioner) is so overwhelming that I am surprised you can smell anything over it.

You and me both -- the Crystals mall smell makes me ill.  I'm not a huge fan of Aria, either, but I can at least handle that one.

All I smell is the air freshener, too.  According to this old thread by jstewa22, the distinctive El Cortez smell is Country Garden, by Zep.

$97 for a case of 12 refill cans, on Amazon.  :)

This whole thread has me

One thing we can say is that these places definitely do have their distinctive odors, good, bad, and ugly. It was only a matter of time before someone would decide to market the scents in the gift shops -- excuse me, "shoppes."

How about a trivia page challenge: Identify each casino by the smell. :rotf: (Okay, okay, I know. No one's invented smellavision, yet.) How about scatch 'n sniff mailers?

If you place a statistician's head in dry ice and his feet in boiling water, then on the average he is fairly comfortable but his comfort has a large variance.

Most people have more than the average number of legs.

Just call me the "quad kickers" of deuces wild and double bonus poker.
