Unfortunately, that was an hour out of my life I'd almost like to have back.
Still, it was "Vegas", and since I'm not in Vegas, watching it on television is probably second best.
It did show that management, the corporate bean counters, don't have a clue about so much. I'm not going to pretend that I believe what we saw. Or his reactions and actions. IMO, it was staged, the "jobs" and perhaps even the customers selected by those in the know, as well as the employees featured.
There had to be "other" jobs, and employees taped for this TV show. What I saw was "edited" to reflect the MGM in a "good" light and IMO, nothing more than an hour long commercial.
The carpet is hideous in every casino. They are designed to psychologically keep the customers eyes off the floor and looking at the games. Ceilings also are "busy" for that same reason. They want "us" looking at the games, and impulsively playing them. His reply to her comment about the carpet was fluff.
The MLife club is so confusing, even he does not understand it. But that is neither here nor there. If you or I went to work for MGM or any major casino, in most any capacity, we would spend some time in training. Especially for any job where we came into contact with customers.
His "on the floor" MLife card efforts were so weak, I can not imagine a supervisor allowing him to continue for any length of time without pulling the plug temporarily for some "training".
And his appearance! That scraggy hair style, his look. Scuse me, but who did you sleep with to get a job looking like that?
He may be the big boss, but he did not seem to have a clue. Out of touch, which is the purpose of the show, but really? REALLY?
I did learn some things.
The most important......
Never, ever watch Undercover Cover Boss again.
Butt..... it was LAS VEGAS, so I had to watch it.
That's my opinion.
