People here seldom argue politics. I have avoided the few political topics we have had. With a few blatant and jarring exceptions, people are nice to each other here. Hope it stays that way.

I've pm'd with a lot of folks from the other site, suggesting that they check this place out.  Many have come over and a few, for whatever reason have not.

What you will find here is the community is generally about as friendly as the other site was BEFORE they started the freak side.  I think you will immediately notice how fast these boards are.  I think you will notice that there aren't as many posters YET.  And that politics are for the most part tolerated but not exactly encouraged.  Exchange points of view, and move on.  We have yet to see the bomb throwers found elsewhere.

LOL, I saw a thread on the other site wondering where a lot of their prolific posters went.  Amusing that other site.

I'm mystified why some people who've come here, have gone back there.  I think that there must be a segment of the population who are like those turtles on the TV commercials (the Slowski's).  They are the ones that prefer slow.  That's about the only thing I can figure.  Or maybe they prefer the coupon run guy who doesn't like coupons anymore.

Wait until you see the LV Advice members reward book! It's free with each paid subscription. I understand that Kevin's doing his best to get it in the mail to you by the end of the year but if there are some delays, he's guaranteed that you'll have it by February. If you prefer, you can swing by his office and pick it up in Minnesota in January....just remember to bring your boots and snow shovel! LOL

Fred, I can't speak for everyone but the reason that I'm still "over there" is that not everyone that I like to follow have migrated over to here yet. If it wasn't for that, I'd never go back. In terms of interface, features, etc. there's absolutely no comparison....this board is light years ahead of LVA.
