Vegas first timer!
« on: February 27, 2012, 07:00:38 AM »
Leaving for Vegas next week, and very excited.  I'm trying to learn and study off the forums as much as I can.  I got an invite to this place and hope I can share helpful info down the road!

Welcome aboard.

If you have some questions about Vegas, this is a good place to get answers.

Where are you staying?

I am staying at pH Westgate Towers.  I will be going with my girlfriend, who has been to Vegas twice.  I bought the LVA coupon book, so plan on eating at buffets.  I would like to take her to one nice restaurant while we are there... possibly a $150 bill or so.  We plan on seeing Le Reve and Absinthe, but waiting until we get there hoping we can get tickets cheaper.

I'm just excited to walk around and see the excitement!

Welcome, and if you have any questions, fire away.

Planet Hollywood has one of the better buffets in town, so (coupon or not) it's probably a good place to sample lunch. I'd recommend Paris next door for its breakfast buffet.

welcome, great group here.  I agree with those buffet choices.  I also like flavors at Harrahs for breakfast and Rio for the gelato.

You can try tix tonight places for a nice dinner cheaper.  Also show tickets to check out.  Never know which shows will be offered at the booths.  Discounts for Absinthe have been offered dont know of any discount for LeReve.  When I stayed at Caesars guys were handing out 20 dollars off coupons for Absinthe in casino and outside.

Welcome to the site!

:welcome:

Glad to have you here.  I know you can get discount tickets for Absinthe at the Tix4Tonight places (roughly $65 a pop).  You can print a $2 off per ticket service fee coupon on their website (here).  I don't know if they offer Le Reve tickets or not, however.

:welcome: and enjoy your trip to Vegas. Have your girlfriend show you around since she has been 2x previous.
There will never be another Vegas, enough said.
