I guess I should tell you a little about myself...

I've been going to Vegas since 2002 and have gone about 25 or 26 times (I've lost count)  ???

I play mostly vp and ddb is my game of choice. My table crack is LIR and I always donate some money with roulette too.

I usually stay at CET properties. Recently we've gotten great rooms and some free play at ballys so that seems to be our "home" base now. You can't beat the bartenders they have!

I love Vegas and go there every chance I get which usually is 2 or 3 times a year. I'm lucky that my husband enjoys it as much as me, if not more.

We love Vegas too.  Airfare is becoming a killer, though, for the multiple-times-per-year trips.  :(

Ain't that the truth? I used to routinely be able to get round-trip tickets from the Washington DC area or Richmond (VA) for between $200 and $250. Now if I find a ticket for $400, I feel like I just hit a royal flush.

Same here with flight prices. We play the southwest game and check prices everyday for our dates. It's about $450 pp from CT.  That used to be the total cost.

We've tried to find places to go where the airfare is less, but then factor in other costs like hotel, food and bev and the flight to Vegas seems a little easier to take.

We did love new Orleans.  We were comp'd at harrahs and got a good price on flights, but we had a $200 bar bill on bourbon st one night (that was on beer - a lot of beer) and I lost control chasing a 7k dollar progressive so it was one of our most expensive vacations...

When we first went to Vegas about seven years ago, our first few trips were under $100 each round-trip.  :(

Same here DDB but lots of penny slots. Playing DDB can get real expensive playing even at the 25c level. Haven't been to Vegas in years. Airfare prices are out of control, plus less seats available.

I am very likely backing down to 1 trip per year.  I hate that.  Last month was my 28th Vegas trip

My biggest drawback right now is not really the airfare,  so much as the fact that A) I make a lot less than I used to and B) I will only get 2 weeks vacation per year until 2016,   compared to the 5 weeks I got at my last job.   Airfare is sucky though.   This April's trip was done on frequent flyer miles,  and next year's trip probably will be too.  After that,  I dunno
