Vegas Trip for my 39th Birthday
« on: September 10, 2012, 01:49:05 PM »
Hi all - trying to firm up my final itinerary for my 39th birthday.  We are staying for 4 nights/5 days.  I'm looking for any advice on the pools in October, cost, cabana info.  Also need some guidance as to which clubs to hit and NOT hit and how to get in for cheaper than what is advertised ($30 - $65 pp).  There are 6 of us in our group and we are staying at Encore.  Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum!

:welcome:

October tends to be when the pools start closing up shop for the season, however the pool at Wynn (not Encore) is open year-round, and is open 9am to 5pm during the off-season, according to this LVA chart.  The Encore pool may already be closed for the season when you're out there, but I'm sure you'll be able to use the pool at Wynn.  Note, it is a bit of a walk from the Encore hotel tower to the Wynn pool -- not something you'd want to do in bathing attire alone.

I'm not much of a club person, but I do know that the clubs at Wynncore are NOT cheap.  If you're looking to go out without breaking the bank, I'd look outside of your hotel for sure.

Again, welcome to the site -- we're glad to have you here!
