Off to Vegas tomorrow
« on: September 22, 2012, 04:15:11 PM »
Fly out from London heathrow to lax for our 7th trip to Vegas.

Our first trip staying just downtown as I'm fed up with the huge distances between strip casino.

Sounds swell, downtown has a lot to offer, and location is one of them.

Because I have no life I went to Google Earth for a route from London to Las Vegas. I was surprised to see that their 'route' went east from London !  for a total of 17,450 miles, estimated to take 43days and 14 hours.  I am guessing that not one of your previous 6 trips took this route.  :)

Welcome. Have a good trip. We love downtown. No more strip stay for us.

We did do downtown for a few years it was nice to walk from place to place. I liked how they were wide open to the street the casinos. It is it's own experiance.

From what Bob was saying I still hope his trip with AA will be shorter than this route.
