Hello to everyone

 Have been lurking for awhile and finally decided to jump on in and say hello. I first started going to LV in 96 and stayed at the MC 2 weeks after it first opened. Got married at the MC the very next year and now have been 60 times with more trips planned in the future I hope. I love everything LV and think of the city as being my home away from home. My next trip won't be until early Feb., so reading message boards and trip reports etc. will have to keep me going until then.
     I enjoy gambling with VP being my game of choice now. I started out as a BJ and Dice player then moved to Baccarat and back to BJ and finally ended up in 2004 as being a VP player only. I won a tournament at GC in August and have cashed in 3 others through the past couple of years. Hope that I can offer some helpful advice to members of this board and look forward to meeting up with some of you out in the Great City some day. Thanks for having me.

Hey there, ho there and greetings. I haven't hung out in the MC in years -- just learned here about their poker room -- and was wondering about food options. Do they still have the big beerhouse thing in the back? Do they have a buffet and/or coffee shop these days?

   Redietz,
  To answer some of your questions about the MC- Yes the micro brew pub is still there and they serve food and have happy hours and bands most nights but what is strange is that they no longer brew their own beer there! Laugh. The buffet is only good for breakfast otherwise I would advoid it for other meals. The cafe is a little high but the food is pretty good for cafe style food. They do have a food court area if you want something quick. Their poker room is rumored to be one the best low mid places to play on the strip. If you are into VP the bar area back by the doors leading to the strip and all brand new and the progressives can get quite high. Last trip the 25c progressive was at 2400.
