Here on the lakes, we've always had an implicit agreement with the marine patrols. We pour our drinks into plastic cups and keep the bottles and cans out of sight. No big deal.

Good!  I think that we need to have the possibility of less broken glass and less of a chance that a glass bottle could be used as a weapon!  I think that glass can be more of a hazard than other materials.

I do not see this as a really bad thing. Especially from the safety standpoint. Just do not start it at South Point.

Damn right Ter. Drinking Gray Goose out of a plastic cup just isn't right.

So people get so drunk in Vegas that glass bottles should never be used. Drinks get spilled and glasses get broken far too much as it is. Bottle service ups the ante and makes glassware increasingly unnecessary. #IKnowFromExperience This is such a silly issue to me. Look at it from all angles. People get too drunk and glass breaks too easily.

Sheesh.

I've finally become accustomed carrying a Corona Bottle as a weapon of choice, and so they issue a ban.

Anyone know where I can rent Nun-Chucks?  Don't think TSA would allow those in my carry on bag.

I know what you mean. It was rolls of quarters for me. They made excellent "inside fist" brass knuckles, could also be used as a mace when placed in a sock, and it made perfect sense to have rolls of them in my pocket around casinos when questioned by law enforcement. BUT, they did away with coin machines (sigh). I tried braining someone with a cash-out ticket recently but the 90 year-old lady I hit just scowled at me, beaned me with her cane and resumed playing her slot machine. :rotf: And she took my TITO ticket, too!!  :brick:
