New Series - Surviving Vegas, A Buck At A Time
« on: May 31, 2015, 04:55:48 PM »
Greetings all! I am the producer of a new reality series called "Surviving Vegas, A Buck At A Time."

In it we follow an eclectic group of people who dress up as bizarre characters; and, solicit tourists for tips to take photos of them on the Las Vegas strip and downtown Fremont Street.

Please check out this link to the show's You Tube Channel.

If it looks interesting please subscribe! It's absolutely FREE! And please share it with your friends!
I am also asking for your feedback and input to help make the show better!

Enjoy! And I look forward to chatting with all of you!

My only feedback is respectfully: just no.

Promoting these costumed and non-costumed characters will just perpetuate their infiltration of Vegas. The casinos probably love them though because it keeps people like me in the casino more so I don't have to deal with them.

What a great series!  I am actually in China, watching this on a VPN which slows the internet and yet I cannot stop watching.   The only way this could ever be better is to flash forward to the future when Alan Leroy becomes a full time street performer and interview him.

I subscribed on YouTube but I never log in or remember to pay attention to new videos - do you have another way I can keep up?  Facebook or whatever?

You know, for some people that would be a trade up.

I watched the videos but did not subscribe. I'm afraid I'm in the camp that would like to see these folks go away. Sorry.
If you place a statistician's head in dry ice and his feet in boiling water, then on the average he is fairly comfortable but his comfort has a large variance.

Most people have more than the average number of legs.

Really interesting to learn the back story on some of these characters. Hoping you do one on Safe Sax Ferris,

I don't really think that subscribing to watch something has any bearing on whether or not they stay or go away...

I bet you could keep Girlfriend.  Just work her into your new life.  Like maybe instead of a dickhead, you could be Dorothy and she could be Toto.  Or something...

No, but I do not want to support their cause or videos publicizing them, and I won't add to the watch count or swell the list of subscribers (both of which are likely to grow the revenue stream and bump them up the popularity ladder on Youtube) by watching any more of the videos.

(P.S. And how do I know that this filmmaker isn't paying them to be in his videos?)

Thanks to those watching and subscribing!

I totally understand not wanting to support the characters. We made these shows because we were curious about their background and enjoyed getting to know some of them. If it does well we do hope to follow other characters and continue the series. Some have interesting stories to tell.

No matter what your feelings are on the people down there, it's an interesting, funny show.  Well done 51.  I look forward to the next episode.  It's a part of life I never thought about but I love seeing all aspects of the lives of people who are out of my comfort zone.
