Wow, I can't believe you went to PS and didn't eat at the 24/7 Oyster Bar! ?? (Or did I miss something in the story?)
I guess you'll have to go back.
Tip: It's slowest around 11am or so and generally busiest between 12m and 3am. It's not unusual to wait over an hour to 90 minutes because they only have a few seats.

Okay.. Super secret tip: Go to the Oyster Bar at Texas Station instead. It has the exact same menu and ingredients, costs a couple of dollars less per item on the average, has 10 times the space and far fewer customers. It closes at normal hours, though (like 11p or 12m or so) so check your watch/iPhone before going.

Other Oyster Bars at other Stations casinos will not be the same -- only those two.
If you place a statistician's head in dry ice and his feet in boiling water, then on the average he is fairly comfortable but his comfort has a large variance.

Most people have more than the average number of legs.

Just call me the "quad kickers" of deuces wild and double bonus poker.

The only oysters I have had have been smoked oysters...so I am never hunting them down.
I suppose I should try them before I die eh?

You should probably try them and see if they kill you.

Seriously, we finally made it to the PS Oyster Bar on our recent trip, it was really good.  Fantastic Mississippi Delta oysters, and a hell of a good combo pan roast.  We'll become regulars.

Yeah, they're slimy and unnatural, but you can really get a taste for them.  These were terrific, plump and very fresh and flavorful, about as good as any in New Orleans.  Mississippi Delta oysters get all the nutrients from all the rain that falls between the Appalachian and the Rocky Mountains.
