Sorry Bonnie,I have to disagree about Binion's.My only trip there was a total disappointment.I didn't think the ribs were that good and it made me sick later that night.Never had Ellis Island's ribs,so cannot compare.Plus you have some good ribs right in your own backyard with the Tunnel Barbeque.

Sorry you had that bad experience.
I have had them about 4 times now and always enjoyed them.

Also sorry to tell you that TBQ is long gone! :(

bb, I'm sorry to hear that you were ill after eating at Binion's. I've never tried their ribs but I might give them a shot if I'm in the mood to actually spend money on food in a casino. Binion's is definitely more convenient for me than EI. Actually, I used to drive to EI on Sundays to get their 2fer pizzas. Two large pizzas for about $21 is a great deal and Metro isn't bad. It's not great, but it isn't bad.
If you place a statistician's head in dry ice and his feet in boiling water, then on the average he is fairly comfortable but his comfort has a large variance.

Most people have more than the average number of legs.

I'm not going to say it was the ribs that made me sick.Could have been a number of things, just bad timing. But I was totally disappointed in the ribs. It's all about personal tastes. Some like them, some don't.

Well. I'm not expecting nirvana at either local. Still, EI is a decent deal and was a great deal with the old 1/2 off coupons.

Really good ribs cost really good money. I haven't had excellent ribs in Vegas but I haven't tried many places. There's one on Highland around the strip joints that I want to check out. Beyond that, I'd have to look to Yelp or other review sites for rib joints around the city.

To answer your question: No, not yet.
