Now seems to be the time to mention the immense rooms in the old two-story motel-style buildings that were part of the Sahara complex. Part of the original construction, they had huge mirrored-door closets and plenty of room. I was told some were originally two-story suites for the famous, but they deconstructed them into separate rooms. They were grouped around pools.

I distinctly remember old Sahara ads that had rooms listed specifically for $28, so I can verify that precisely.

mare - are you double booking?  if so, that is one fine free play trip!

Nope, I'm TRIPLE booking! LOL

Planet Hollywood $700 free play and 2 High Roller tickets
GVR $250 free play
SLS $150 free play and my Cosmo offer of $600 free play, $100 dining for the match.

We'll see how it goes. I don't completely trust that they'll do what they say they'll do!

Thanks for the info, Mare.  I'll hopefully have a decent offer to bring in and try to get them to match.

You're welcome, Kevin.

Like I said in another post, I don't completely trust them. Having seen them reneging on offers of free play without a hotel stay, I would definitely call ahead of time and speak with a host and see if you need to book a room or if they'll honor your free play without being booked into the hotel.
